GIANT 4 & 5 Wheel Hay Rakes

DESCRIPTION
A wheel hay rake is a compact and efficient implement used for gathering cut hay into windrows for baling or collection. It consists of four rake wheels, each fitted with multiple spring steel tines—typically between 8 and 16 per wheel—that rotate as the machine moves, lifting and aligning the crop without the need for PTO power.
The working width generally ranges from approximately 3 to 6 meters (10 to 20 feet), making it suitable for small to medium-sized fields where maneuverability is important. Many models feature adjustable wheel spacing and rake angles to accommodate different crop conditions and windrow sizes, while some may include hydraulic adjustment for added convenience.
Mounted via a hitch or linkage system, wheel hay rakes are lightweight—typically between 225 and 680 kg—and compatible with lower horsepower tractors. With a working capacity of around 2 to 6 acres per hour, depending on field conditions and crop type, they offer a practical and cost-effective solution for efficient haymaking. As with most implements, specifications may vary depending on the manufacturer and configuration.
